The Actors’ Playground is a program designed to give young people a place where they can express themselves creatively, expand their appreciation of the arts and develop the skills they need to take an active part in the arts. We open up new worlds for children by providing experience and guidance in a professional setting.

“Seussical” Play Production Camp - ages 9-16l
Mondays-Fridays, 9:00am - 12:00 pm
June 14th - July 9th
Tuition: $400.00
Performances: July 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th @ 7:00 pm
and July 11th, 18th @ 2:00 pm
This multi-age camp is a wonderful opportunity for serious minded students to experience a full musical theatre production from auditions to performance. First day of camp is spent getting acquainted, team building and discussing audition techniques. Students then audition and get their roles and scripts on day two with the remainder of the camp devoted to singing, dancing and acting rehearsals. The session will culminate with six performances on the main stage which will be ticketed to the public complete with set, lights and costumes. Each rehearsal will include warm-ups with special attention being paid to learning professional theatre fundamentals. All campers receive two complimentary tickets to be used during the run. (It is suggested that all students enrolling have some prior class experience.)


JUNIOR PERFORMING ARTS CAMP - ages 6-10 “HOORAY FOR DIFFENDOOFER DAY” a Dr. Seuss Musical
Monday-Friday, 1:00-4:00 pm, June 14th-July 2nd, Tuition: $300.00
Performance: Friday, July 2nd @ 7:00 pm

THEATRE TOTS - ages 3-5
Monday-Friday, 10:00-11:30am
July 12th-July 16th
Tuition: $125.00
The emphasis is on imagination as we play, sing, dance, dress up and act out our favorite stories. Hand outs will be provided to parents with suggestions of follow up activities and games to keep the creativity flowing. Parents are encouraged to stay and “play” the last day of class.


GOTTA DANCE - ages 10-15l
Monday-Friday
1:00 pm-4:00 pm
July 12th-July 16th
Tuition: $150.00
(Recital: Saturday July 17th 10:00 am)
This one week camp is pure fun as each day students are introduced to a new dance style. Both beginners and more advanced students are encouraged to take part. Families and friends will be invited to come and enjoy a demonstration the morning of July 17th at 10:00.


MAKE ‘EM LAUGH - ages 6-9
Monday-Friday, 1:00 pm-4:00 pm
August 2nd -6th
Tuition: $150.00
Spend a laugh out loud week discovering your funny bone. We will work on jokes, jibes, and gestures with special emphasis on “physical” comedy as our professional stunt coordinator shares his tricks of the trade guaranteed to “make ‘em laugh!


NEVER FEAR, SHAKESPEARE IS HERE! - ages 10-14
Monday-Friday, 9:00 am-12:00 pm
August 2nd-6th
Tuition: $150.00

Spend a week exploring the wit, wisdom and words of William Shakespeare. We will use the tricks of paraphrasing to turn Elizabethan English into
modern day thought and as a bonus our professional fight coordinator will instruct students how to safely perform some of those wonderful slaps, punches, and hair pulls that make Shakespeare so delicious!
